Overview
TripCash is designed with privacy in mind. Your mileage records, trip history, routes, vehicle information, odometer readings, classifications, notes, taxpayer name and reports are stored locally on your device. TripCash does not upload, sell or share your driving data.
Data Stored on Your Device
The following information may be stored locally on your iPhone so the app can function:
- Trip history and mileage records
- Route information and GPS coordinates
- Start and end addresses
- Vehicle information you choose to enter
- Trip classifications, business purposes and notes
- Odometer readings
- Generated PDF and CSV reports
- App settings such as automatic trip detection preferences
Location Data
TripCash uses location access to automatically detect drives and create mileage records. Location data is processed and stored on your device. TripCash does not send your trip routes or GPS history to our servers.
Apple MapKit
TripCash uses Apple MapKit to display maps, routes, addresses and trip snapshots. Map-related functionality is provided by Apple.
Subscriptions and Purchases
TripCash uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status and purchases. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as subscription status, product identifiers, transaction information and anonymous app user identifiers. Payment information is handled by Apple and is never stored by TripCash.
What TripCash Does Not Do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not upload your trip history to our servers.
- We do not store your routes on a TripCash server.
- We do not use your driving data for advertising.
- We do not store your Apple payment information.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete trips and other records inside the app. You may also delete the TripCash app from your device to remove locally stored app data, subject to how iOS manages app backups and device storage.
